Let's head to The Big Friendly to tune into a high-flying Western Conference matchup where the Sacramento Kings will be facing off against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Sacramento has been one of the surprises of the season out west. Currently sitting atop the leaderboards in Offensive Rating across the Association, the Kings have torched opposing defenses consistently night in and night out. Just this past week, they competed in one of the highest-scoring games in NBA history, when they took down the Los Angeles Clippers on the road by a score of 176-175. As they get ready to gear up for a second game in three days against the Thunder, they will have to bring the same intensity that they have been playing with over the past few games if they intend on coming home with a sweep in Oklahoma City. With Domantas Sabonis getting a full off-season with the Kings this past year, he has been able to form one of the brightest duos in the league with De'Aaron Fox this season. It is always difficult to win two games in a row on the road against the same squad... will they be able to impose their dominance to do so?

Oklahoma City has been a solid squad on both sides of the ball for large parts of the season. Despite this, budding superstar guard, Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, will be out once again as he continues to recover from a nagging abdominal strain. Because of this, they will need a full team effort if they want any chance in stopping one of the best offenses in the league. Looking at the West standings, they slot in the 13th hole right now, but once you look at how jumbled up the bottom of the pack is, with any run of good form, any squad can take a Play-In/Playoff spot from another team. Although he has not gotten much talk from the media since he plays in a small market, second-year man, Josh Giddey, has put in an elite offensive showing thus far. Averaging 16.2 PTS, 7.7 REB, and 5.8 AST, he is slowly on an upwards trajectory to average close to a triple-double if he can continue to develop areas of his game. As Oklahoma City tries to stay close to striking distance in a bid for a Playoff spot, he will have a large say in whether they can achieve their goal or not.

Betting trends to consider in this matchup:

- Sacramento is 3-0 SU and ATS in their last 3 games

- Oklahoma City is 0-3 SU and ATS in their last 3 games

- The Kings are 20-8-1 ATS when playing on equal rest as their opponent

- Sacramento is 22-13-1 ATS in Conference games

I have been a believer in the Thunder throughout the year. But, with SGA out, they lack the firepower to stick with high-scoring offenses. As they face off with the Kings for the second time in a row at home, I don't see the outcome changing one bit as he will be out once again. Give me the Kings to continue on their improbable run as they inch closer to the second seed in the West.
