On Tuesday night we will get an enticing game between two teams with Championship aspirations when the 76ers continue on their West Coast trip as they come into the Crypto.com Arena to take on the Los Angeles Clippers.
Philadelphia is healthy as ever, with a clean injury report, which we haven't been able to say many times for them in the past few years. They are 7-2 SU over their last 9 games played (4-5 ATS in that stretch. Coming off of two 1 point wins on the road against the Jazz and Lakers, they will need a much better effort in this one in order to continue their win streak. Joel Embiid has somehow improved on his spectacular previous years, putting up 33.4 PTS, 9.8 REB, and 4.3 AST. Having said that, James Harden has been great in his new role, and Tyrese Maxey is a budding star in the league. As you put these three pieces together and add the other pieces to the puzzle that they have, it is easy to understand why many have them coming out of the East. This will be their 3rd game in 4 nights on the West Coast. After staying over in L.A. last night after a nail-biter against the Lakers, will Doc Rivers be able to get enough out of his team in this one?

Los Angeles is 23-22 on the year, but we all know they aren't a .500 team when they are fully healthy. This isn't the case for the time being though. John Wall and Paul George will both most likely be out for this game, but Kawhi Leonard will be active. Coming off of a 30-point game against the Rockets two nights ago, he will look to continue to get back into form in this one against a 76ers defense that has struggled over the past few weeks. As a home underdog, they are 3-5 ATS so far this year. We will see if Leonard can put the team on his back in order to gain a big momentum booster for the Clippers in a W. As their home stand comes to a close, Tyronn Lue will surely have his team ready to go in order to stay above the play-in spot, which the Golden State Warriors hold at the moment behind them.

I am comfortable taking this where the line is right now, and would prefer to take it now rather than later as George could be a late add to the lineup, shifting the line in the Clippers favor. Whether he is able to go or not, I like the Clippers philosophy on the defensive side of the ball and how they guard superstars. I expect them to make someone else beat them not named Embiid, and for Leonard to carry the load down the stretch as Los Angeles continues to increase his minutes. Give me the Clippers to secure an important win here.
