The Pac-12 conference championship game is finally here and it is the last one ever for the time being. It will be a crazy way to go out on top as the winner of this game will grab themselves a spot in the college football playoffs with the opportunity to win a national championship before leaving for the Big Ten next season. as the Oregon Ducks and the Washington Huskies face off in a rematch in one of the games of the year from the regular season. Both quarterbacks come into this game looking to win the Heisman Trophy as well and it seems like the winner of this game will be taking home the hardware along with a conference championship, and a spot in the college football playoffs as well. This is going to be a close and competitive game here on Friday night in Las Vegas as these two quality teams fight for conference supremacy, and an opportunity to win at all in their final year in the conference.

The Oregon Ducks come into this game red hot after picking up a victory over Oregon State in their final regular season game. Their only loss this season was to Washington and they will be looking to make up for that loss with a quality performance here on Friday night in the conference championship game. A victory in this game for Oregon would give them a conference championship and put them in the playoffs as well as potentially win their quarterback, Bo Nix the Heisman Trophy in the process. He has been tremendous throughout the regular season.

He has helped lead this Oregon team to 11 victories in 12 games throughout the regular season and they will be looking to cap it off with a conference title as well. They have never won a national championship in the history of the program, but they have come close several times and this season arguably might be one of their best shots if they get the job done here in this game on Friday night. Oregon comes into this game with five consecutive blowout victories to their name, and they will be looking for a six consecutive blowout victory here on Friday night as they look to take down Washington and ruin their undefeated season.

The Washington Huskies come into this game after a perfect regular season that included a thrilling victory over this Oregon team earlier this year. They will be looking to beat them for the second time this season and advance to the college football playoffs with a conference championship on their résumé. A victory in this game guarantees a spot in the college football playoffs for the undefeated Huskies, and they will be looking to help win quarterback, Michael Penix, the Heisman Trophy with a quality performance in this game as well. After his career looked dead in the water after a rough start with the Indiana Hoosiers, he transferred out to the Pacific Northwest, and turned himself into a legitimate NFL prospect.

The same could be said about Oregon quarterback Bo Nix after coming from Auburn as well, which makes this game that much more meaningful for both of these teams, and both of these starting quarterbacks as the winner likely will get the Heisman trophy, as well as a conference title, and a playoff spot. After beating Oregon once earlier this season Washington comes into this game as an underdog and they will be looking to prove the doubters wrong here on Friday night in Las Vegas. You can argue that Oregon has been the stronger team throughout the year despite that one loss, and if it would’ve been played anywhere else, the ducks would’ve won, but Washington will be looking to disprove that narrative with a quality game here in this one. Regardless of the outcome of this one, I do look for it to be a high scoring game between these two quality offenses here on Friday night.

Betting trends to consider in this matchup:

- These two teams combined for 69 points in their game

- Oregon has scored more than 30 points in every game

- Washington averages around 38 points per game

I expect this game to be high scoring and back-and-forth between these two quality teams here on Friday night in Las Vegas. This is one of those games that is very hard to pick a winner after they played such a close game earlier on in the regular season and that is why I’m going with the safer route of taking the over on the total points. No matter who is playing in the Pac-12 it is likely to turn into an offensive shootout as the conference arguably doesn’t exactly pride themselves on defense. Which is why I expect this game between Oregon and Washington to be high scoring here on Friday night of the final edition of the Pac-12 conference championship game.
