In a critical battle that can have major implications on who takes the top seed in the Big 12 Conference, the Kansas Jayhawks will try to stay head and shoulders above everyone else when they head on the road to take on the TCU Horned Frogs.
The Jayhawks are as hot as any team in the country over the last 3 weeks. Starting Junior forward, Jalen Wilson has gone from being an average role player over his first two seasons with Kansas, to being one of the more prolific scorers in the country. He has put up an excellent 20.4 PPG as well as a team-high 8.3 RPG in this campaign so far. Although Wilson has been their premier scorer and has taken massive strides in each game, Freshman Gradey Dick, is one of the more lethal weapons from the three-point line in the country, making them at a 41.4% clip. This has allowed them to stretch the floor and score easily against the majority of opponents they have faced from all phases of the game.

The Horned Frogs were finally able to get back on the right track last time out, bettering the Oklahoma State Cowboys by a 25-point margin while putting up triple digits in the process. That was a much-needed win for them, as they were in a 4-game slump before that that dropped them into the bottom-4 of the Big 12. Mike Miles Jr. is their leading points-getter with 17.9 PPG, but they role how Damion Baugh roles. The Senior guard is one of the best well-rounded players in the country, with his calm presence being able to control the floor in large parts of the game. He will need to be at his best come Monday night as the Jayhawks come into Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena looking for revenge over their drubbing at home against the Horned Frogs a month ago. With both teams averaging almost identical numbers for points per game scored and points against, will TCU be able to get the upper hand on their Conference foes as they attempt to make one last push until the Conference tournaments are here?
