Notre Dame has been riding high ever since they lost to Louisville and they are coming off of a blowout victory against Pittsburgh. They will be looking to take down Clemson once again, as this series has turned into a bit of a budding rivalry over the last several seasons. Notre Dame comes into this game with perhaps some of the best cornerbacks in the entire country so the Clemson offense will have to be smart about their play calling and if not, they will get burnt by the likes of this Notre Dame defense and it will be a long night for the Tigers.

Clemson had plenty of expectations coming into this season, and it was all knocked off of the train tracks when they were upset by Duke in the opening game of the year. Ever since then they have just seemingly been unable to get back on track and they now come into this game in a situation they have not faced in a very long time. Clemson finds themselves only three losses away from missing out on a ball game this season, which is unusual for a team, has been competing for national championships for the entirety of the past decade.
