Houston is a young and inexperienced team and it has shown all campaign long. Coming in with an 18-52 record, they are tied with the San Antonio Spurs for the worst record in the West. Despite this though, they have shown signs of life of late. Although they have been well out of the playoff conversation for a long time now, they have been able to put together a 3-game win streak inside of the Toyota Center over the past week. It has not been against bottom feeders as well, as they have taken down the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, and New Orleans Pelicans in that stretch of games. Somewhere they have been able to improve astronomically is away from their basket. Having only let up a maximum of 112 points out of their last 3 games, they will look to continue improving their swarming defense in a clash with the former Champions. As Houston attempts to stop the Warriors from sweeping them in the season series, time will tell if their positive play can steamroll into this one.
