It was a total rebuilding year for Notre Dame under first year head coach Micah Shrewsberry. They looked absolutely lost at times, and other times they showed great flashes of potential. However, at the end of the day, it was a total roster overhaul for Notre Dame and a group of young freshmen that were leading the way for the majority of the season. At times that was great for the Irish and other times it was their downfall as a group of experienced players led to several mistakes late in the game. This is a Notre Dame team that certainly has the talent to pull off some upsets and get the job done but they will have to persevere and overcome winning five games in five days if they want to make the NCAA tournament this season.
