Saturday night takes us to Los Angeles where the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers will kick off the 16th week of the NFL season. Both of these teams had expectations of making the playoffs when the season started and at the moment there is a possibility that both of them could end up sitting on the couch by the time the playoffs come around. Buffalo is on the doorstep of potentially clicking a wildcard spot, meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers are well out of playoff contention by this point they have already fired their general manager and head coach. This is a must win game for both of these teams for two very different reasons as they meet in Los Angeles here on Saturday night, and they will both be helping for an early Christmas present.
It has been a roller coaster of a season for the Buffalo Bills and their coming into this game facing what feels like a must win situation if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive heading into the last two weeks of the regular season. Josh Allen has been a turnover machine this season and it has really hampered their performance and if they slip up in this game on Saturday night against the Los Angeles Chargers, they will find themselves in a mess in a crowded AFC. They come into this game with eight victories, their first 14 games of the regular season and they will need to pick up their ninth victory in this one to put themselves on top of the pack with the other wildcard teams.
As well as keep their hopes alive to win the AFC East division over the Miami Dolphins the last two weeks of the season. They are finally starting to pick up momentum after picking up back-to-back victories over a couple of solid teams in the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs. Now they will look to keep this momentum rolling throughout this game against the Los Angeles Chargers, as they look for their third win in a row that would all but officially put them into the postseason. A win in this game would also keep them alive to win the division as they currently hold the tiebreaker over the Miami Dolphins.

The Los Angeles Chargers have had a rough season and they have already fired their coach, Brandon Staley and their GM and they will look to build up as much momentum as possible heading into the off-season. They had plenty of expectations coming into the year, but they have not lived up to those expectations as they have been a complete disappointment. However, they have been battling through injuries throughout the year which has severely hampered their performance at times this season. But in the end it was another disappointing season for a team that had expectations of making the playoffs, and they are once again going to be sitting at home on the couch when the postseason comes around.
They are hoping that their next head coaching hire will be the man that brings it all together for this team as they look to their full potential with a talented quarterback, like Justin Herbert leading the way. Los Angeles comes into this game with nine losses their first 14 games of the regular season and they are one loss away from being officially eliminated from the postseason race and it is likely that that loss comes here on Saturday night against the Buffalo Bills. Los Angeles comes into this game on a two game losing streak after being blasted by the Las Vegas Raiders last weekend, where they gave up 63 points in a very embarrassing loss. Now they will look to bounce back and snap that losing streak with a huge upset victory here on Saturday night at home over Buffalo.
Betting trends to consider in this matchup:
- Buffalo is 7-4 as a favorite this season
- The Chargers are 2-5 at home this season
- The Chargers are 3-5 after a loss this season
I expect this to be a back-and-forth ball game, but in the end I do look for the Buffalo Bills to pick up the victory on the road in Los Angeles against the Chargers. as I look for Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs to make the necessary plays to lead the Buffalo Bills to a victory here in this game on Saturday night against slumping, Los Angeles, Chargers, team in week 16 of the NFL season. I look for Buffalo to pull away late in this one and pick up the victory as well as cover the spread in the process. As always, get our VIP Pick Free Tonight by Clicking Here!
