Pick: Cavs -4.5 (-115)

Tuesday night takes us to Cleveland where the Cleveland Cavaliers will face off with the Atlanta Hawks at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in this NBA in-season tournament action. Both of these teams are potential Eastern Conference playoff teams this season, but both of them have experienced a somewhat average start to the regular season as well. Both Atlanta and Cleveland will be looking for crucial early season victories against each other here on Tuesday night in Cleveland as not only do they look to make their way up the standings, but they also look to advance in this NBA in-season tournament as well. This should be a close and competitive game between these two quality teams here on Tuesday night in Cleveland as Trae Young and Donovan Mitchell try to lead their teams to victories.

The Atlanta Hawks coming into this game hovering around the .500 mark and they will be looking to grab the ninth victory of the season here on Tuesday night on the road in Cleveland. It was a rather slow start of the season for the Atlanta Hawks as they found themselves well below .500 throughout the first couple weeks of the year. However, they have started to turn things around as of late and they will be looking to maintain that momentum with another quality performance here in this one on Tuesday night and this tournament match up against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Atlanta has split the first two games of their current road trip after picking up a victory over Washington, and dropping a game to Boston on the road in their previous contest. They will be looking to get back into the column with a solid performance here on Tuesday night in Cleveland as they look for their second victory in their last three games. They sit at ninth place in the Eastern Conference , and they will be looking to make their way up the standings throughout the end of November and beginning of December as they look to get things going in the right direction and start stringing some victories together.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the best teams in the league last season and they had high expectations heading into the playoffs. However, they were outmatched and knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by the New York Knicks in only five games. With all the talent on their roster that seemed unacceptable at the time and now they come into this season looking to get things back on track and get themselves in a position to make a deep playoff run once again. Cleveland is having an average start of the season as they still look to shake off their early exit from the playoffs last year and they will be looking to get the momentum rolling here on Tuesday night at home in this tournament matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.

Cleveland has plenty of potential on their roster as long as they remain healthy and consistent as guys like Donovan Mitchell, and Evan Mobley or the key to the success of the Cleveland Cavaliers throughout this season. Both guys have stepped up in big ways throughout the early part of the year despite the results not always coming for Cleveland on the scoreboard, and they will be looking to deliver another quality performance here on Tuesday night against the Atlanta Hawks at home. Cleveland has a little bit of momentum coming into this game after picking up a three-point victory over the Toronto Raptors at home in their previous contest.

Betting trends to consider in this matchup:

- Cleveland is 8-6 outside of the Central division

- Atlanta is 5-6 outside of the Southeast division

- Cleveland is 3-3 as a home favorite

I expect this to be a close and competitive game between two quality teams in the Eastern Conference here on Tuesday night in Cleveland in this tournament matchup. This is a game I could easily see going down to the final wire and potentially into overtime as well as it is very likely that Trae Young and Donovan Mitchell will continue to trade buckets throughout the entirety of the contest. In the end, I do look for the Cleveland Cavaliers to defend their court with a solid victory over the Atlanta Hawks here on Tuesday night.
